We love God and Others, Lift Others, Launch Others
The following are the core beliefs of ALC based on the foundational truths taught in the bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in these biblical doctrines.
We believe that the Bible is the infallible Word of God, 2 Timothy 3:15-17.
There is only one God, Deut 6:4 Jesus Christ is God manifested in flesh. He is both God and man. Deuteronomy 6:4; Ephesians 4:4-6; Colossians 2:9; I Timothy 3:16.
Everyone has sinned and needs salvation. Salvation comes by grace through faith based on the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Romans 3:23-25; 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9.
Baptism was taught by Jesus as part of the new birth experience. Baptism is for the remission of sins. John 3:5, Matthew 28:19, Mark 16:16. It must done by immersion in water, in the name of Jesus Christ. Acts 2:38
We believe that the Holy Spirit is active in the world today. Being filled with the Holy Spirit and developing the life characteristics produced by His indwelling are the privileges of all New Testament believers. John 7:38-39, Luke 24:49, Acts 1:5
The Church is meant to be the visible body of Christ sent into the world to glorify God and proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are a Spirit-filled church and a bible-based church.
Jesus Christ is returning one day to judge both the living and the dead and to usher in the fullness of God's kingdom on earth.
Life is better together. Our small groups meet weekly around Georgetown and online. No matter your season of life, there is a group for you.
